“I really dropped my jaw during Shades of Grey. Jill Eickmann and Marcus Sams were simply terrific—their trust and attention, along with their comedic gifts, are front and center. Wow.”
– Julie Payne (Curb Your Enthusiasm)

“Jill Eickmann and Marcus Sams are delightful human beings, teachers and performers. Their show can be funny, touching and heartbreaking – often at the same time. They’re not afraid of playing deep, honest relationships and the show is gripping from start to finish. — Watching them is a master’s class on improvisation.” – R Kevin Garcia Doyle (Improvaganza Hawaii Festival of Improv, Education Director)

Marcus Sams is a professionally working actor and is the owner and operator of Improv with Marcus. He also is co-owner of Crux Jinx Productions as well as the co-founder of the Bay Area Film Mixer. In the improv world he has trained many improvisers and has gotten 45 improv shows into national festivals and performed in hundreds in non-festival settings.

Jill Eickmann and Marcus Sams have performed their unique brand of humor for audiences across the country for over 10 years. Together they have performed in over a dozen improv festivals, including: Gainesville Improv Festival 2011, San Francisco Improv Festival 2011 – 2016, The California Improv Festival 2014 2016, Improvaganza (Hawaii Festival of Improv) 2014, 2015, the San Diego Improv Festival 2015, 2016, and the Chicago Improv Festival in 2015 & 2016.

Their shows are often plagued by hilarity and pathos as they explore the relationship of two individuals across three pivotal moments in time. A recipe yielding an emotional roller-coaster of improv comedy that tickles the funny bone and warms the heart in the style of a three-act romantic comedy.
